I visited The Maritime Museum Liverpool las year to look for examiners notes regarding my PMG exam taken in 1966. I was initiall told by the archivist that they held all records but when I visited I found only records upto the end of 1965 and was then told that my visit was a waste of time as all records 1966 onwards had been sent to the Bodleian Library Oxford and kept with their Marconi Archive. I’ve been in touch with the Senior Archivist at the Bodleian who has found my Marconi Marine employment records. However he confirms they hold no examination records. I wonder if anyone has found 1966 onwards for their own examination and where they are held?
